Hilton Clearwater Beach, FL
Eating the right foods at the right times enables athletes to train harder, recover quicker and race faster. This 2 hour course for swim coaches contains two modules ‘Training Nutrition’ and ‘Competition Nutrition’ and provides coaches with the fundamentals of sports nutrition for everyday training, swim meets and training camps. The information provided is in accordance with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American College of Sports Medicine and the nutrition guidelines as defined by the International Olympic Sports Nutrition Committee. Within a world of conflicting, biased and misleading nutritional information, swim coaches can be confident that they will be able to advise athletes on the best food and fluid choices for maximum training and competition performance.
